New Student Orientation

Prepare for your arrival in Kearney by completing the Admitted Student Checklist and registering for New International Student Orientation (NISO), an in-person orientation to help you transition to UNK. NISO is mandatory for every new international student.

NISO introduces you to campus, U.S. immigration requirements, and student life. You'll also:

1. Learn about the U.S. academic system
2. Meet professors and student support staff
3. Complete vaccination requirements
4. Explore student activities and campus involvement opportunities
5. Connect with new friends

• How to submit your photo and pick up your UNK ID Card   
• Get your Parking Permit through your MyBLUE account.
• UNK recommends purchasing Personal Property or Renters Insurance.
