Academic and Student Affairs

In the Division of Academic and Student Affairs:

We promote an educational experience that fully prepares UNK students for careers and citizenship, and we strongly support the faculty and staff who provide it.

The functions of the various groups within the Division of Academic and Student Affairs encompass the broad diversity of students experiences.

The Senior Vice Chancellor works closely with each of the college deans – including the College of Business and Technology, the College of Education, the College Arts and Sciences, the Graduate College, and the Library – to provide oversight and support for the development and maintenance of a high quality academic experience at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. The SVCASA and deans meet frequently in the Deans’ Council.

Additionally, the Division of Academic and Student Affairs houses the offices for several programs that complement and enrich students education, including General Studies, Honors, International Studies, and Women's, Gender, and Ethnic Studies.

The offices within the division provide support to students and ensure timely and efficient functioning: Academic PublicationsAssessment, eCampus, Graduate Studies and Research, Information Technology Services, Institutional Research, International Education, Student Affairs, and Student Records and Registration.
