2026 High School Counselor Updates

Mark Your Calendar — the 2026 High School Counselor Updates is September 14-18. Presenting institutions include UNK, UNL, UNO, Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture, Chadron State College, Peru State College, Wayne State College, and EducationQuest.

Join us for one of five events to hear the latest on system-wide initiatives, new academic programs, facilities, and scholarship opportunities. EducationQuest will also share key updates, including FAFSA changes and timelines. Registration will open early August.

• Sept. 15 – Wayne State College
• Sept. 16 – University of Nebraska-Lincoln
• Sept. 17 – University of Nebraska at Kearney
• Sept. 18 – Chadron State College

April 24 - Careers That Care - Register

April 30 - Deadline to join the Health Science Explorers Academy (open to students who will be juniors and seniors in the 2026-2027 academic year)

May 1 – Nebraska Promise (must be admitted and have completed the FAFSA for consideration)

May 26 - Roommate Selection Opens

May 27 – New Student Enrollment begins and continues through June 25

June 10 - Health Science Explorers Summer Camp - Register

June 11 - Health Science Explorers Summer Camp - Register

June 24 - Health Science Explorers Summer Camp - Register

June 26 - Room Selection Opens

July 22 - Health Science Explorers Summer Camp - Register
