Oct. 1 – FAFSA opens for 2026-27 (UNK code = 002551)

Jan. 7 – Housing application opens for fall 2026
Jan. 22 – Teacher Ed Visit Day - Register
Jan. 26 - Health Science Day - Register
Feb. 4 – Music Student for a Day - Register
Feb. 5 – Music Student for a Day - Register
Feb. 11 - Health Science Explorers Camp - Register
Feb. 16 - Health Science Day - Register
Mar. 1 – Must be admitted and official transcripts and ACT/SAT scores must be received by UNK for merit-based scholarship consideration
Mar. 1 – Admitted students must complete the Admitted Incoming Freshman Scholarship Application in MyBLUE for consideration of other scholarships
Mar. 24 – Admitted Student Day
Apr. 1 – Deadline to apply for UNK’s Honors Program
Apr. 13 - Health Science Day - Register
Apr. 15 - Health Science Explorers Camp - Register
May 1 – Nebraska Promise (must be admitted and have completed the FAFSA for consideration)
May 27 – New Student Enrollment begins and continues through June 25
Aug. 24 – First day of fall classes
