College is an exciting time for new students and their families. We want you to feel welcome and confident during this transition and have prepared this orientation program to help you get a great start.
Key components of the NSE experience with UNK:
NSE Morning Sessions
NSE Afternoon Sessions
NSE is a required orientation program for all new undergraduate students as you will be registering for your classes. Because of restrictions for large gatherings, NSE will be conducted remotely this year. UNK will connect with you via Zoom or phone and will contact you 3-5 days prior to your scheduled date to inform you of your advising time. You will still have opportunities to interact one-on-one with our New Student Enrollment team, your academic advisor, and others. We remain dedicated to supporting you and your family through this enrollment process. NSE will be a great experience and a chance to answer all your questions as you begin your life as a Loper.

Participating in the entirety of your New Student Enrollment is the beginning of a successful start at UNK. Your NSE date is really your first day of college and we want you and all students to start their academic independence. Parents or guardians are encouraged to participate and will have their own sessions and opportunities to ask any questions about UNK.
Space in each session is limited, and your NSE date is reserved on a first-respond, first-reserved basis.
