Female Athletic Development (MUST BE AGE 8-13) is designed to help young female athletes build a strong athletic foundation during one of the most important stages of physical development. The adolescent and pubertal years are a key time for athletes to begin transitioning into a more structured training environment as they adapt to a rapidly changing body, improve coordination, and develop the movement skills needed for long-term success in sport.
This program focuses on laying the groundwork for future performance through age-appropriate resistance training, speed development, and overall movement education. Athletes are taught proper exercise technique so they can safely and effectively begin developing strength, power, coordination, and confidence. Speed training is also an important part of the program, with an emphasis on proper running mechanics and quality exposure so athletes can continue building technical efficiency as they progress into higher levels of training.
Designed specifically for female athletes, this program gives young athletes the opportunity to develop healthy habits, improve athletic ability, and gain an early competitive edge in a positive and empowering environment. Each athlete begins with a simple, age-appropriate testing battery that helps identify strengths and areas for improvement in areas such as strength, speed, coordination, and overall movement quality. These baseline measures help guide training and give athletes and parents a clear picture of progress over time.
A major point of emphasis within this program is ACL injury risk reduction, which is especially important for young female athletes. Female athletes are at a greater risk for ACL injury during actions such as cutting, stopping, landing, and changing direction. Through focused training in strength, power, balance, mobility, agility, jumping and landing mechanics, and change-of-direction ability, we help athletes move more efficiently, perform with confidence, and reduce injury risk as they continue through their athletic career.
What makes this program especially impactful is that it is a female-only training environment led by female trainers. Our goal is to create a setting where young female athletes feel confident, supported, and challenged as they learn how to train the right way. This program is about more than just performance—it is about building strong, confident athletes from the ground up.
