Bethany Shinn

“I have always had a passion for writing, so journalism seemed like an obvious choice for me.” After graduating, Shinn had a three-month internship in Uganda with Show Mercy International. “The experience was a very valuable time to explore what your education had taught you in real-life application. While I was there, they offered me the opportunity to be their communications director. Professors inspired me to pursue my passions. I am incredibly blessed to say that I am using every area of my education at my current job, and my education has equipped me to help in areas including public relations, graphic design, marketing, management and so much more.
