Next Gen Scholarship
The Next Gen Health Science Scholarship was created to recognize and support students who are actively building the skills and experiences needed to become the next generation of healthcare professionals. Sponsored by UNK Health Sciences and our Hospital Partners, this scholarship encourages students to engage early in hands-on learning, campus involvement, and community service. Eligible freshmen pursuing a Health Science major or minor, Public Health minor, or a pre-professional program can earn a $2,000 scholarship to be applied toward their sophomore year tuition. Through participation in shadowing, club activities, and experiential learning opportunities, students gain valuable insight into the healthcare field while strengthening their academic foundation. This is a competitive award, designed to celebrate students who demonstrate initiative, engagement, and a clear commitment to a future in healthcare.
