About Us

Mission

The G.W. Frank Museum of History and Culture engages diverse audiences with the history and culture of Kearney, Nebraska, and the larger Great Plains region through collecting, preserving, and sharing the stories of the many individuals associated with this historic site. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Frank Museum serves as a living institution, interpreting the home and its cultural resources, and is dedicated to exploring our past as a way of better understanding our present and future

Vision

The G.W. Frank Museum of History and Culture aims to be a living historical and cultural center for central Nebraska by developing quality educational programs, creating permanent and rotating exhibits, expanding its collections, continuing the restoration of its historic property, and cultivating a greater physical and digital presence.

Leadership

Frank Museum Advisory Board

The Frank Museum Advisory Board is the beating heart of the G.W. Frank Museum of History and Culture. Their dedication and genuine care for the museum allows us to continually grow and expand our mission and vision, and the major changes that have occurred over the years were made possible only through their involvement and diverse expertise
