2018 Strategic Plan Update

Last spring, I engaged the Strategic Planning Committee (SPC) and four implementation groups to evaluate progress toward the four priorities in our Strategic Plan (2016).

This iterative approach is healthy and necessary in a rapidly changing and competitive higher education environment.

The review began with four implementations groups meeting to evaluate progress toward our strategic priorities. Their work was impressive—documenting substantive initiatives and significant progress while presenting possible revisions and new recommendations. The SPC considered recommendations and approved updates last summer. I am now asking you to review and provide feedback within the next 30 days. View the 2018 strategic plan draft and provide feedback via the form below.

Once our 2018 updated Strategic Plan is finalized, I will present to President Bounds and the Board of Regents. I hope you will note in the documents the many members of our campus community who served on the SPC and the implementation groups and join me in expressing appreciation for their important contributions. Thank you in advance for reviewing the updated SPC and any feedback you are willing to provide.
