Enrolling in Classes

Transfer students must be admitted before enrolling at UNK. Missing transcripts puts a hold on your application. If you’re currently enrolled elsewhere, request your “in-progress” transcript be sent so your application can be processed. You can still be advised and enroll at UNK before your classes are finished. Near the end of your final semester, request official final transcript so UNK can promptly award your transfer credits.

Requirements Before Enrolling

• Class enrollment is completed in your MyBLUE portal with your advisor’s help. Be ready – set up your password and Duo Mobile authentication in advance.
• Students taking in-person classes at UNK must submit required health records before allowed to enroll.

Submit Confirmation Form

• Admitted students will receive an email to complete the Confirmation Form which confirms your intent to enroll at UNK.
• The form will also appear in MyBLUE – available in October for students starting the spring term and March for students starting the summer or fall terms. See dates below.
• Submit the Confirmation Form promptly to initiate a final thorough review of your transcripts. You will also be encouraged to schedule a pre-advising meeting to review that all requirements are completed and answer any questions you may have.

Academic Advising & Enrolling

• Once your transcript review is completed (allow 3-10 business days), your academic advisor and their contact information will appear in MyBLUE.
• Contact your advisor to schedule a Zoom, email, phone or in-person appointment to select classes, or register for Enrollment Day on Nov. 13, 2026 for students starting the spring 2027 semester, or Apr. 9, 2027 for students starting the summer or fall 2027 terms. Admitted students will receive an email inviting them to this event.
• During enrollment, your advisor will review your transfer credits and degree program, and recommend the classes you’ll need – you’ll load your MyBLUE cart and submit it.
• Pro Tip: Complete your advising and class enrollment early. Full classes may require instructor permission, which can delay your enrollment. Early action ensures you’re ready to go on the first day of classes.
