The Nebraska NexGen Scholarship is a scholarship commitment for eligible entering Nebraska resident first-year students at the University of Nebraska at Kearney who earned a 33 ACT (or 1450 SAT) or higher composite score.
The NexGen Scholarship provides for an overall renewable financial aid package designed to help cover major educational costs. This award includes tuition and standard cost-of-attendance allowances and may not cover all charges or higher-cost options. Because tuition and enrollment vary, total award amounts will differ by student.
Students may qualify if they:

Note: To receive the housing and meal portion of the scholarship, students must apply for and secure on-campus housing by applicable university deadlines (housing capacity is not guaranteed). For students approved to live off campus, the scholarship commitment includes tuition, standard fees, books and supplies.
