If you are ill or get injured when UNK Student Health is closed, you will need to determine if you are able to wait until the clinic opens to be seen. If unsure, you may consult with an Emergency Department Registered Nurse by calling either CHI Good Samaritan Hospital or Kearney Regional Medical Center and ask for the Emergency Department.
In the event of a health emergency, you may need to go to the emergency department of CHI Good Samaritan Hospital or Kearney Regional Medical Center for treatment. The Good Samaritan Ambulance can transport patients by calling 911. On campus, you can summon the UNK Police by calling 308-865-8911.
You are responsible for paying for all charges for emergency care.
