Students currently enrolled and registered for on campus credit hours automatically pay the Student Health & Counseling fee, making them eligible for Student Health & Counseling visits. Students currently enrolled in online classes are eligible for care by paying the Student Health and Counseling fee at their first visit.
The $118.00 Student Health & Counseling fee allows students access to an unlimited number of health care visits and three (3) counseling sessions per semester, in addition to the initial intake session. Students who would like or are in need of additional sessions beyond the three covered under the student fee, can choose to pay a reduced rate per session. The counseling session fee is covered at 100% if you are currently enrolled in the student insurance coverage plan.
For students who are not currently enrolled at UNK or for students who do not wish to pay the Student Health and Counseling fee, you may contact your local mental health community agency.
