EMPHASIS IN FRENCH, GERMAN OR SPANISH

Qualified language teachers are in high demand. The University of Nebraska at Kearney offers Subject Endorsements (7-12 grade) in French, German and Spanish. Our faculty work with future teachers to help them acquire a high level of proficiency in their chosen language and to equip them with methods and management strategies for the second-language classroom.

UNK offers a variety of summer and semester study abroad programs to accelerate your language study while being immersed in the culture at your preferred destination. UNK's College of Education has established a reputation for training Nebraska's best teachers for more than a century. Our graduates have a successful record of finding teaching positions.
