The University of Nebraska at Kearney Institutional Review Board (IRB) reviews all research that involves human subjects. The IRB's role is to ensure that research conducted by students and/or faculty complies with federal regulations. All researchers and advisors must complete the CITI Training Course prior to IRB review.

Funded research projects involving animals must be approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) before they are initiated.
