Dr. Alireza Ghasempour is a summa cum laude PhD graduate in Teaching English as a Foreign/Second Language (TEFL/ESL), holding both MA and PhD degrees in the field. With over 20 years of teaching experience, he has worked extensively with learners of all proficiency levels, offering instruction in IELTS, TOEFL, general English, and academic English. His professional expertise spans not only classroom teaching but also curriculum development, syllabus design, and teacher training.
Dr. Ghasempour’s classes are known for being highly interactive and communicative, fostering a dynamic environment where every student has the opportunity to contribute. He places strong emphasis on individualized feedback to support each learner’s progress, while his culturally responsive approach embraces diversity and promotes intercultural understanding.
In addition to his teaching career, Dr. Ghasempour has contributed to academic scholarship through publications, including a study on “translanguaging” that highlights the mediational role of learners’ first languages in second language acquisition.
