SPRING 2026 AUDITIONS

**Auditions for this SPRING 2026 production are open to all current UNK students - not just majors and minors.**

Auditions:  January 22 - 6:00-8:00pm, January 23 - 3:00-5:00pm
Location:  Miriam Drake Theatre
Performances:  April 16-26, 2026

NOTE:  Rehearsals for this production will begin on Sunday, March 8. 

Casting:  There are roles for (3) women and (3) men in this production.

To audition:

  • Check the Theatre Callboard (outside FAB 212) for any additional information the director may post.
  • Pick up an audition form from the Theatre Callboard (outside FA212).  Completed forms should be returned to the Stage Manager when you check in for the audition session of your choice.  If you do not have a chance to swing by in advance, be sure to allow extra time to complete a form prior to the audition.  On your audition form, be sure to note any and all conflicts (work, classes, recitals, concerts, personal events, etc.) that fall during the rehearsal period and/or run of the production (March 8-April 26, 2026).  
  • Arrive in the “lobby” outside the Miriam Drake Theatre at least 10-minutes prior to the audition session of your choice.  You do not need to sign up for an audition session in advance.  While you only need to attend one audition session to be considered for a role, the director(s) may ask you to return for additional readings.
  • Be prepared to wow the director with cold readings from the script.  NOTHING at all needs to be prepared or memorized in advance.
  • Relax, breathe, and enjoy this opportunity to dazzle the director!
