School Administrators

Make sure that your candidate is qualified to hold a Nebraska Transitional Teaching Permit before extending an offer of hire; contact the TCP Office Associate at the contact information below to verify. The teaching position must be at least .5 FTE in the endorsement area in which the candidate is seeking certification.

In order to facilitate the hiring of your Transitional Certification Program candidate, please download, read in their entirety, complete the documents listed below and return them to UNK via the contact information provided below. When all required documents have been received, UNK signatures will then be applied and the UNK Educator Certification Office will send them to the Nebraska Department of Education.

The Transitional Certification Program Fee is paid by the hiring school district. Invoices will be sent after September 1st.
