How to get started

1.) If you want to visit with the Online Program Coordinator, contact Sarah Bartling.

2.) Apply for graduate admission online at Admissions.

• • Application fee ($45) is required.

• • Application deadlines: (firm deadlines)
    • July 10^th for fall
    • November 10^th for spring
    • April 10^th for summer

3.) Submit a GRE Score or a professional biography.

4.) Send official transcripts from all past institutions to the Graduate Office.

5.) When everything is complete and the application has been submitted, the application process will take two to three weeks to completely process.

6.) Once you've received an acceptance of admission notification, you may register for classes by accessing UNK's MyBLUE registration system.

7.) If you have questions about Financial Aid, please contact the Financial Aid Office at (308) 865-8520.

Do I have to be accepted into the program to register for classes?
You may apply as a non-degree seeking student, the application process may take up to 48 hours to complete. After your application if processed, you can register and take up to 12 credit hours. Only 12 non-degree credit hours can be accepted towards an appropriate degree.
