After completing the program requirements, you will have a strong mathematical background in all areas needed for middle and high school teaching, including calculus, geometry, statistics and teaching pedagogy. Classes for mathematics education majors are taught by full-time professional staff who are dedicated to your success. The faculty’s specialties range from mathematics education to applied and abstract mathematics. The advanced classes often have fewer than a dozen students, allowing faculty to provide you with individual assistance.
