  • MUS 897 Capstone Project - offered every semester (course taken near end of graduate studies and must be planned with the Capstone Chair by at least the semester before taking the course)
  • MUS 850 Graduate Applied Instruction (via on-line delivery or on campus) with audition approval (2 Cr. Hr.): Vocal, Instrumental, Piano, and Composition.
  • MUS 815 - Graduate Applied Secondary Instruction Studio (via on-line delivery or on campus) with instructor  approval (1 Cr. Hr.): Vocal, Instrumental, Piano, and Composition. 
    • Composition Audition Requirements - Students desiring acceptance into 815 lessons for composition must submit a one-page statement of purpose that answers the question, "What goals would you like to accomplish through the study of music composition?" to the appropriate instructor. A discussion regarding lessons will follow. No other entrance requirement is required and the instructor will determine any end of the semester meeting. 
    • Instrumental Audition Requirements - Students will contact the appropriate instructor to discuss lessons. There is no entrance requirement, and the instructor will determine any end of semester performance.
    • Vocal Audition Requirements - Students will contact the appropriate instructor to discuss lessons. There is no entrance requirement, and the instructor will determine any end of semester performance.
