About the Physical Education 7-12 Teaching Subject Endorsement Degree Program

On Campus

Inspire the next generation to live happy, healthy, and active lives as a physical education teacher. The Physical Education 7-12 Teaching Subject Endorsement qualifies graduates to teach at the secondary level in the public or private sector. The endorsement requires 30 hours of specialized coursework.

Close partnerships with surrounding school districts allow UNK students have the opportunity to practice teaching in a variety of health education settings beginning their freshman year all the way through to senior year student teaching. UNK's College of Education believes in the value of hands-on learning and helps to guide students in these field experiences throughout their collegiate career, developing quality educators who make a difference in the lives of students.
