Special Accommodations

Students needing accommodations under the ADA should contact the ADA coordinator at 308-865-8655 at least one week in advance of the graduation ceremony.

ADA Parking

Lot 12 is designated for ADA commencement parking. A valid handicap parking permit is required to park in this lot. Vehicles without a handicap parking permit transporting someone who has a restriction may drop off guests on the west side of the stadium in Lot 12. ADA parking for participating graduates, faculty and staff is also available in Lots 3, 4, 6, 8 and 32. These may be closer proximity to lineup.

Wheelchair Access

Seating for individuals who use wheelchairs is available at the sky-viewing level of Cope Stadium (west stadium). To access the sky level, enter the main "Cope Stadium" entrance at the glass doors. The elevator is to your immediate right upon entry. One other person may sit with each individual who uses a wheelchair. There will be staff at the entrance to assist individuals as needed.

Nursing Mothers/Family Room Seating

A private area for nursing mothers is available in Cope Stadium Rooms 309 and 311. To access this level, enter the main "Cope Stadium" west entrance at the glass doors. The elevator is to your immediate right upon entry.

Additional "family room" or climate-controlled seating indoors is available for guests in the Fine Arts Recital Hall. The commencement exercises will be streamed on a projector for individuals and families in this room.
