In addition to receiving your physical diploma, the university is providing graduates the ability to download and share their digital diploma through a partnership with Parchment. Upon completion of degree, Graduates will receive an email to electronically ‘Claim’ their diploma.
To access your digital diploma, follow the steps below:
All graduates will receive an email to their @lopers.unk.edu email account the Wednesday after graduation weekend that contains a unique link.
Follow the link in the email and claim your Parchment account.
Download your diploma anytime you want for free.

FAQ
Graduates should first check their @lopers.unk.edu account to source the original email. The subject line was “Congratulations! Your Digital Diploma from UNK is now available!” If you have a hold on your diploma, the digital diploma will be released as soon as all issues have been cleared. If a graduate can’t find the email, they can contact unkregistrar@unk.edu.
Users with a current Parchment account with their personal email will need to use their @lopers.unk.edu email to access and claim their UNK digital diploma. All notifications are being sent to the graduates @lopers.unk.edu email address and graduates should use that email to set-up and claim their diploma.
No, the Office of the University Registrar will still issue earned diplomas to graduates at commencement or by mail.
Digital diplomas are not available to those who have earned degrees prior to July 2021. To order a copy of your physical diploma contact unkregistrar@unk.edu.
