Adding Activities

Your academic planner isn't just for classes. It can be used as a comprehensive life dashboard by integrating all your commitments. Internships, research projects, part-time jobs and more, placed into your degree plan and term schedule.

With activities integrated you can:

  • Create visual boundaries around fixed commitments.

  • Identify optimal time blocks for studying.

  • Enable intelligent course search filtering around existing obligations.

  • Generate a complete picture of your term workload.

Adding activities to your degree plan

You can add any type of non-course activity to your degree plan in a number of ways.

Option 1:

  • Navigate to your Student Plan From either the Plan your Path tab on the left navigation menu or the Plans tab located in your Student Profile above your degree audit.

  • Select the semester you are planning, click the "+ Add to Term" button at the bottom of the term.  Select the "Activity" option, then add the name of the activity and select the activity type.

Option 2:

  • Navigate to your Student Plan, with the right side bar open, click on the Remaining tab, and scroll down to Activities.
  • Click on the + icon and enter your activity name and type. Save the activity and you can then drag and drop into the appropriate semester.Degree planner interface showing Spring 2027 courses on the left and a “Remaining Requirements” panel on the right.

Adding an activity to your term schedule

In addition to placing activities in your student plan, you can add an activity to your term schedule. To access your term schedule, you can select the active term from the left hand sidebar, or click on the calendar icon from your planner view.

To add a new activity, click on "+ Add Activity" button in the right sidebar. Weekly class schedule view with course blocks, alongside an Activities panel highlighting the Add Activity button.

You can input the name, type, and time of the activity, which will then appear in your schedule. You can also add day/time details to any activities that you placed in this term from the planner.
