Before relocating your phone, please contact Information Technology Services at 308-865-8363 or unkhelpdesk@nebraska.edu to update your location information. Accurate location information is essential for 911 emergency services. To better ensure that emergency responders are able to quickly identify the location of an emergency, in the event you need to call 911, your first choice should be to call from a wired-line phone or cellular phone. If you do choose to call 911 from a soft-phone, you will need to stay on the line with 911 dispatch to confirm your exact location.
