SSN FAQ

It would be considered safer to some extent. The UNK shares server is physically more secure than your local machine. You are not authorized to store Social Security Numbers in any way (hard drive, shared drive, email, spreadsheet, Word document, web page) unless you have been granted an exemption.

You cannot use the full NUID or any portion of the NUID to post grades. As an alternative, you can use Blackboard for posting grades.
