Biography

Naheed Abdulrahim, Associate Professor, became a faculty member at UNK in 2023.  She teaches graduate and undergraduate classes in special education both online and face-to-face in the department of Teacher Education. She earned her doctorate in special education from the University of Kansas in 2021. She has written and presented extensively on the importance of culturally relevant education (CRE) as an equity-based inclusive practice. She is an undergraduate research faculty mentor and serves on various College of Education and Teacher Education department committees.
