Bio

Jesslyn Hollar is an Associate Professor and current Department Chair in the Department of Teacher Education at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Her work focuses on teacher education, educational policy, and community-forward educational partnerships. Jesslyn brings 15 years of experience in teacher preparation, and her professional background includes working in PK-12 public and private schools and in higher education. At UNK, Jesslyn teaches courses in philosophy of education, educational research, and foundations of education in a democratic society.
