NBDC is the statewide administrator of the Procurement Technical Assistance Program for the State of Nebraska, which was established by Congress in 1985.
The purpose of the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) Program is to help the general economy by assisting companies in doing business with Federal, State, or local government agencies.
NBDC's PTAC Program helps companies complete the registration and certification process for small business programs. Other services offered include Bid Match, which emails notifications for government opportunities that match a clients profile.
NBDC also offers free government contracting workshops and networking events, and can assist clients in locating businesses that may have capabilities needed to allow them to compete for government contracts.
