Chuck Beck joined the Nebraska Business Development Center (NBDC) on the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus in July 2013. in his position as the Procurement Technical Assistance Consultant for Central and Western Nebraska, Chuck helps companies in 48 counties do business with the government.

Chuck most recently served as a branch Manager for Manpower, and his professional experience includes management, sales, marketing, consulting, grant/proposal writing, and education/training.

Chuck is a member of the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce, and recently participated in Class 20 of Leadership Kearney. He is also a member of Noon Kiwanis and CNHRMA. Chuck previously served as the President and Vice President of the Kearney Area Children's Museum, and has volunteered for several community organizations.

Chuck graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelor's Degree in Language Arts Education.

Sara Bennett

Sara McMillan is a Business Consultant with the Nebraska Business Development Center at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Her primary office is located in Grand Island within the Chamber of Commerce. Sara holds a B.S. in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Accounting from UNK and is currently pursuing her master's degree in Business Administration. She began her work at the NBDC during her undergraduate career. To provide clients with exceptional technical assistance, Sara received training and has credentials in the following technical areas: Certified Valuation Analyst, a Certified Exit Planning Advisor, and Economic Development Finance Professional and a Certified Business Planning Advisor.

A Native of Grand Island, Sara understand the importance of being active in the community. Sara is a member of the Grand Island Young Professionals and served as President in 2012. She is also a member of the Chamber Connectors, a member of the International Honor Society - Beta Gamma Sigma. Volunteer assignments include helping with the Grand Island Harvest of Harmony Parade, Nebraska State Fair and the Heartland United Way Moo Claw. In 2012, she was named one of the "Top 35 Under 35" in Grand Island.
