Biography

Dr. Amber Alexander is an Assistant Professor of History Education in the Department of History at UNK. She is a first-generation student who was raised in Kearney, Nebraska. She received her doctorate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2023. Prior to joining the faculty, she taught American History and served as the Online Program Coordinator in the Department of History for 11 years. Dr. Alexander works with students enrolled in the History and Social Science Teacher Education programs.
