What is your favorite part of being a professor at UNK?

I enjoy being able to focus on the students and supporting their success. At some research focused universities there is a saying that “Every minute you focus on a student is a minute you are not focused on research.” But at UNK, we strive to provide the student with the focused attention one would normally associate with a private college at the price of a public university.

Name one reason a parent should send their child to UNK for their education

The biggest endorsement that I can give to UNK is that both of my children graduated from here. They are each doing very well and received a great education.
