Dr. Angela Hollman has extensive experience in the cybersecurity operations world. This experience stems from her entrepreneurial initiatives in co-founding and running a web and media services company for 20 years and from her experience managing a small cyberoperations team at the university. She holds multiple Cisco certifications and membership in several academic technology organizations like Association of Computing and Machinery and Women in Cybersecurity. In addition to technical expertise, Hollman is highly interested in how to convey this technical knowledge in an understandable way to gather higher interest and engagement in the field. She has received over a million dollars in funding to develop cybersecurity education and engage middle schoolers in this lucrative career pathway. Recently, she and her team received a private donation to further fund the Rural Measures project. She has received multiple awards for her teaching and research.

I like to incorporate hands-on learning or interactive activities into the classroom. Learning should be interactive and engaging.
Teaching was not my first career. I went into teaching because I find cybersecurity incredibly interesting and engaging and wanted to share this with other students/learners.
