Know Before You Go

Parking

No fees will be charged. Concertgoers are encouraged to use the following lots on campus for public parking:

  • Lot 14 – Located directly west of the Health and Sports Center and north of the College of Education building
  • Lot 12 – West of Cope Stadium
  • Lots 10 & 13 – East of Health and Sports Center. Handicap accessible parking is accessible in Lot 10.
  • Lot 27 – West of the College of Education building and southeast of Discovery Hall along Highway 30
  • Lot 20 – Located directly west of Kearney Country Club entrance along University Drive

Venue Entrance

Two public entrances are available at the Health and Sports Center:

  • The main entrance is located at the west side of the building off the pedestrian bridge.
  • The other entrance is on the east side of the building.
  • A separate line for those with PIT tickets will be marked at each entrance.

PIT Tickets

Those with PIT tickets on the floor will receive a wristband when you enter. The wristband is required for entrance into the PIT area and can only be obtained when first entering. Anyone observed in the PIT without proper ticket and wristband is subject to removal from the venue.

Re-Entry

For your safety, once a person exits the Health and Sports Center, re-entry is strictly prohibited.

Bag / Purse Policy

Small clutch purses and wallets are allowed at entry. Clear, uncolored plastic tote bags are also permitted, or guests may use a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc or similar).

Prohibited Items

We ask all guests to arrive early and travel light, as you may be subject to search upon entry.

For safety reasons, prohibited items include but are not limited to:

  • Backpacks, bags, fanny packs, wallets with chains or large purses. (An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection.)
  • Any type of weapon, fake weapon or object resembling a weapon. This includes firearms, knives, tasers, chains and any item deemed to compromise public safety
  • Alcohol, drugs, illegal substances, vaporizing pens / E-cigs or any paraphernalia associated with drug use. The Health and Sports Center is a smoke-free facility
  • Animals (except service animals)
  • Cameras with professional or detachable lenses are not allowed
  • Outside food and beverage, including water bottles
  • Laser pens / pointers of any type
  • Signs and banners
  • Noise making devices of any kind / bells / whistles / air Horns
  • Hover boards / heelys / skateboards / rollerblades / bicycles

If an item is revealed during a search, patrons may dispose of the item or they may return the item to their vehicle. UNK Health and Sports Center does not safeguard any personal belongings or items of any type.

Guest Conduct

To maintain a safe and enjoyable environment we ask that while visiting the Health and Sports Center, guests be courteous to those around them and abide by building policies. Guests using foul or abusive language, behaving in an unruly manner or appearing intoxicated are subject to ejection and/or arrest.
