Refund Schedule for Dropped Classes  

Full Semester classes; all instruction modes. (Short term classes will follow a prorated refund schedule, please call (308) 865-8524 for information.)

Summer tuition refunds are based on the class length and the date that the completed drop is processed
in MyBLUE. Class length is based on the start and end date (calendar days include weekends & holidays)
of the class as advertised in the official UNK Course Schedule. It is NOT based on class meeting times.
There are no refunds past the mid-point of the class. (See Academic Policy: Dropping a class)

Registration by a student signifies an agreement to comply with all regulations of the University.

Note:  Fees are refundable at the same rate as tuition. A $35 administrative fee may be assessed whenever 100% refund is given for complete withdrawal from all classes. A class cannot be dropped past the mid-point of the class.

When will my refund from loans, grants and scholarships be available? 

Refunds are usually available the first week of class.  After the start of classes, refunds from financial aid will be available 7-10 business days after the refund appears on your account.  You may pick up your refund at the Finance Office at Founders Hall, Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a picture ID. Sign up for Direct Deposit on MyBLUE to have refunds from Financial Aid or schedule changes sent directly to your bank account. After you login to MyBLUE click on Student Center and look for "Direct Deposit (Refunds)" under Student Accounts.

How do I know if I am receiving a refund? 

View your student account on MyBLUE to see if you will receive a refund. Please contact Student Accounts at (308) 865-8524 if you have additional questions regarding refunds.
