About the Conference

Each year the Criminal Justice Department hosts an annual conference in the Fall. A variety of outstanding justice authorities from around the nation have presented at past conferences. Speakers have included world famous criminologist Henry Lee, former FBI profiler John Douglas, Nicole Brown Simpson's sister Denise Brown, and dozens more.

The conference is held in conjunction with the Criminal Justice Department's annual Criminal Justice Career Fair. The career fair provides students with the opportunity to meet with representatives from dozens of justice agencies at the federal, state, and local level, in Nebraska and across the Midwest.

The Annual Criminal Justice Conference and career fair attracts over 400 students and justice practitioners each year, and is heavily covered by local and regional media.
