UNK Subject Tutoring offers student-to-student assistance for most General Studies (100- and 200-level) courses during the fall, spring, and summer semesters. Subjects tutored include: Accounting, Biology, Statistics, Chemistry, Finance, Math, Physics, and Spanish. Like most other college tutoring programs, our greatest demand falls in mathematics and the natural sciences. All tutors prepare for their work using College Reading and Learning Association certified training. Tutor selection requires faculty recommendations and a formal interview.
Tutors are available for drop-in tutoring in the Loper Success Hub and online appointments using Microsoft Teams. You may request an appointment by calling the Loper Success Hub at 308-865-8728, sending an email to successhub@unk.edu, or stopping by our welcome desk on the second floor of the Calvin T. Ryan Library.
