April 2026 Update

group photo

Alpha Omicron Pi has had such a fun month! We started off with a mixer with Aphi, where we decorated Easter eggs. We also hosted a DEI event where we had the opportunity to hear from two international students. This month, we were excited to initiate two new girls into our chapter and officially welcome them into our sisterhood! We had another mixer with Axid where we got creative bedazzling different objects. We also had multiple sisterhood events like playing yard games and making sugar scrubs. We had the opportunity to meet with an Educational Leadership Consultant, where we showcased our chapter and our successes and received valuable advice for continued growth. We gave back to our community by volunteering at The Big Event and hosted a successful Smoke Out Arthritis philanthropy event! Thank you to everyone who supported us! We also celebrated our seniors at formal, making unforgettable memories together. We had a fun Ladies Day where we made candles and spent quality time together. We are so excited for what’s ahead! As the semester wraps up, many of our sisters are looking forward to spending time at home, working, traveling, and making the most of their summer. A group of our members will even be taking a trip to the Ozarks, which we can’t wait to see and hear all about! We’re also already looking ahead to recruitment in the fall and are so excited to welcome new potential members into our chapter. We can’t wait for what’s to come!

April was a busy and exciting month for Alpha Phi, filled with events that brought the chapter closer together. Members stayed involved through chapter meetings and helped keep things running smoothly while also participating in big events like Court of Ivy, Initiation, and Big/Little Reveal. There were plenty of opportunities to connect through social events like the AOII mixer, Little Sister Sleepover, and Semi-Formal. Toward the end of the month, Senior Ceremony and Senior Wills gave the chapter a chance to celebrate seniors and all they’ve contributed. Overall, April was a great mix of sisterhood, fun, and staying involved during a busy time of the semester. As the semester ends and the chapter transitions into summer, Alpha Phi looks forward to staying connected while also taking time to recharge. Members will be heading into summer with internships, jobs, and time at home, but the chapter will continue to foster involvement through a planned summer workshop. This workshop will provide an opportunity to reflect on the past year, prepare for the upcoming semester, and strengthen leadership within the chapter. Overall, the summer will be a balance of personal growth, continued connection, and getting excited for the year ahead in Alpha Phi.

This month, Alpha Xi Delta has been focused on celebrating our sisterhood and preparing for the future! We’ve been hosting recruitment workshops to prepare for the upcoming recruitment season and strengthen our members’ skills and confidence. We also celebrated Founder’s Day and our first-ever Double Blue and Gold alumni and parent banquet, which made for a meaningful day honoring our history while connecting with alumnae, parents, and sisters. We also celebrated our seniors as they went alum, recognizing our graduating sisters and honoring this special milestone in their Alpha Xi Delta journey. We have a lot to look forward to in the coming months! We're excited to have time for rest and enjoy summer together! We have many sisters going on trips together and growing deeper in our bond of sister. We’re excited for Work Weekend and Polish Week coming up, which will help us continue refining our recruitment skills and building excitement for the fall. Of course, we’re especially looking forward to recruitment and welcoming a new member class.

April was such a fun month for Gamma Phi! We were able to spend our Ladies Day on April 11th celebrating some of the women who have helped shape us into who we are today. We also had our Senior Ceremony and Spring Formal on April 18th. It was such a bittersweet time being able to celebrate our seniors who have poured so much dedication into our chapter, and it was even better to end the night dancing alongside all our best friends! Our Girls on The Run race with a local elementary school will take place April 28th, and we can’t wait to see how far these girls have come with the help of our mentoring. We are also looking forward to Work Weekend in July and relaxing before recruitment is in full swing at the end of the summer!
