Biography
I am a native of beautiful Kobe, Japan. My husband (a UNK History Professor) and I have one son who keeps us very busy! I attended Jr. College in Osaka and hold a BA degree from Northwestern College (IA). Before moving to the USA I spent years working in sales and recruitment in Japan, first in the financial industry and then as a career consultant with Japan’s third largest employment agency. Now, I work for National Collegiate Network (NCN), a Tokyo based firm that partners with American universities to provide collegiate education and job training for Japanese students. As the NCN liaison at UNK I provide seminars and various other services to our Japanese students and assist UNK Office of International’s Education staff as appropriate and necessary.
