Suzette Elliott

Biography

Suzette Elliott holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Wayne State University with a major in Science and a minor in French, a Master of Arts in Educational Technology from the University of Michigan–Flint, and a Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Cornerstone University. With a strong foundation in both language and instructional technology, Suzette brings a well-rounded perspective to English language education.

She has extensive experience teaching ESL to diverse learner populations across all proficiency levels, from beginner to intermediate, in academic, adult education, and community-based programs. Her roles have included curriculum development, assessment design, and mentoring new instructors. Areas of expertise include academic English, language skills integration, technology-enhanced instruction, and culturally responsive teaching.

Known for a student-centered and communicative teaching approach, Suzette is committed to creating inclusive, engaging learning environments that empower learners to reach their academic and professional goals.
