Kim Walter joined UNK in 2016 as a print production specialist, bringing her expertise in graphic design and print media. She advanced to associate designer in 2019 and later to her current role as graphic designer, where she plays a key role in enhancing UNK’s visual identity across digital and print platforms.
Walter designs and prepares materials such as posters, brochures, direct mail pieces, magazines, banners and recruitment publications. She also creates digital content for email campaigns, social media, advertising and campus billboards. Collaborating with departments such as Admissions, Athletics, Residence Life and Student Engagement, she ensures creative projects align with the university's goals. Additionally, Walter assists with printing and finishing work.
A native of Johnson, Nebraska, Walter graduated from UNK in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising. Before joining UNK, she worked as a graphic designer for LIPS Printing Service in Kearney.
