The University of Nebraska at Kearney offers a variety of academic, sports, creative and extracurricular summer camps for elementary, middle school and high school students. UNK camps vary from a day to overnight week-long events and are designed to expand education, explore, or build athletic skills in a fun environment while you make new friends and experience the UNK campus. UNK Summer Soccer Camp is designed for players to get to train with college players and coaches for 4 days. This camp will focus on player development in areas of technical work, technique, and competition. This camp will be offered as an overnight camp or commuter camp (if a commuter, cost is $100 less). First day of camp will be checking into camp and your room if you are a residential camper, as well as an evening session and dinner. Second and third day of camp will include 3 training sessions with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The final day of camp will include a morning session, brunch and camp awards. We will be having players and coaches from our program as well as some surprise counselors working the camp this year. This is an opportunity to grow as a player with coaches and players from all levels.

This camp is designed to give campers an opportunity to develop the fundamental, positional and specialty skills of volleyball. The camp’s goal is to meet the needs of the individual. Campers will be divided into groups by age/ability.

This camp is designed for the intermediate to advanced player who wants intensive training in either Setting, Hitting, or Defense. Campers choose a position and receive intense training on basic through advanced techniques in their chosen specialty. At the end of each session the Setters, Hitters, and Liberos will be put together to implement the skills they have trained during those sessions. Serving, passing and blocking will be covered as well.

University of Nebraska Kearney Team Camp
UNK Team Camp is the ULTIMATE setting to prepare for the upcoming fall season. Each team will have the opportunity to compete in at least 9 matches in one of the nation’s premier volleyball facilities. This is a competition/team preparation camp.

Directed by UNK Head Coach Rick Squiers, the Volleykidz day camp is designed to introduce volleyball basics utilizing age appropriate methods that are both fun and educational. Campers will learn passing, setting, serving, and spiking through the use of modified equipment and techniques to help them get a head start in one of the world's most popular sports. Get into the action with Volleykidz Day Camp!
