Did you know that 1 in 8 students (about 760) at the University of Nebraska at Kearney are Hispanic or Latino/Latina/Latinx? Students and their families quickly discover that UNK is a welcoming and safe campus. With the support of the Office of Intercultural Engagement and Leadership (IEL), you’ll have ways to celebrate your culture and share it with others so UNK feels like home. Our goals are simple – to provide an atmosphere for students from diverse backgrounds to excel academically and socially by providing financial aid, support services and leadership opportunities. If you’re the first in your family to attend college, there are additional resources for you.
