In 1999, a 75 person task force was established to review the UNK Teacher Education model. The team was made up of P-12 teachers and administrators, TE faculty, and Arts and Sciences faculty. They made a recommendation to develop a network of surrounding schools that would work with the UNK Teacher Education department to enhance outcomes for perspective teachers as well as P-12 students across Nebraska.
Today, the network is comprised of 24 school districts, ESU 10, and ESU 11.
Are you an administrator interested in having your school join the network? View the Network of Partner Schools Agreement. Contact Vic Young for more information.

"I have served on the Principal's Advisory Council for 9 years and have enjoyed the educational conversations amongst this group of educators, PK-16. Not only have I learned about UNK's programs, goals and accomplishments, but have also been asked for input to update their processes and class offerings for our future teachers. UNK is graduating students who have the skills necessary to be successful first-year teachers in today's classrooms. They will become master teachers through their professional career with the resources and opportunities provided by the University of Nebraska - Kearney. "
Current teachers and administrators of Network for Partner Schools member institutions are allowed one complimentary general admission ticket to any regular season home UNK athletic contest. Please place your request for your ticket prior to the day of the event and preferably at least 24 hours in advance. Tickets can be requested via email at lopertickets@unk.edu (preferred), or by calling (308) 865-1563.
Note: This offer is not valid should UNK be the host site for any post season competition. You are not allowed to receive payment from any source for your complimentary ticket and you may not exchange or assign them any item of value per NCAA rules and regulations.
