Aliisa Criffield

Biography

Mrs. Criffield has worked a number of years in the field as an Exercise Physiologist specializing in special populations. She created a Cancer Rehab program to help cancer patients recover and thrive. She also was awarded a Livestrong Grant and a Susan G. Komen grant for the program. Mrs. Criffield also developed a program called Building Bones which focused on building bone density for those with Osteopenia and Osteoporosis. She has now shifted her focus to helping prepare the next generation of professionals. Mrs. Criffield has been a lecturer on staff here at UNK since 2019. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach through the NSCA and also holds the Exercise is Medicine certification through ACSM.
