Learn new strategies for ESL
This online supplemental endorsement provides current approaches for teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) students. The program focuses on instructional methods, curriculum and teaching materials that promote the mastery of English to help students succeed academically in all content areas.
Prerequisites: Bachelor’s degree and teaching certificate
The ESL Supplemental Endorsement program is intended for those who already have a teaching certification with an endorsement. The program is approved by the Nebraska State Department of Education. Students pursuing certification in other states must check with their State Department of Education for certification requirements.
Curriculum
Prior to enrolling in TE 816A, you must be approved by the Office of Educator Certification and Department Chair.
