Learn the fundamentals of composition, lighting, and camera settings to capture strong, visually engaging photographs.

7:00 PM — Photo Excursion

Put photography techniques into practice through an evening photo walk around campus and the surrounding area.

8:00 PM — Return to Dorms

Monday, June 1

Campers choosing to eat breakfast must go with the supervised group at the scheduled time.

9:30–11:00 AM — Morning Session: KLPR Tour and Broadcasting Basics

Location: LIBR 168
Tour the KLPR studios, learn the rules for going “on the air,” and practice basic audio board operations while planning evening radio shows.

11:30–12:30 PM — Lunch

1:30–1:40 PM — Intro to the Lab

Counselors assist campers with logging in and creating Adobe IDs.

1:45–2:30 PM — Afternoon Session: Video Editing Basics

Learn the fundamentals of video editing, including cutting footage, adding audio, and building a polished sequence using a non-linear editing program.

2:30–3:15 PM — Guest Lecture
