Jane Roitsch, Ph.D, CCC-SLP, MBA

Education

Dr. Roitsch received her Doctorate from Old Dominion University in Special Education with a concentration in Communication Disorders (2018). She received her master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the Ohio State University (1999) and holds bachelor’s degrees from Butler University (Speech-Language Pathology, 1997; Public and Corporate Communications, 1994). Dr. Roitsch also holds a Master of Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University (2012).

Teaching Areas

Dr. Roitsch teaches courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Her courses include anatomy and physiology, diagnostic methods, voice disorders, motor speech disorder, and articulation and phonology disorders.

Research

Dr. Roitsch conducts research in the areas of executive functions, optimizing graduate student placement and experiences as well as stuttering, dysphagia, and neurological disease. More specifically, Dr. Roitsch examines the impact of executive functions in the healthcare professions and the clients they serve.
