How would you describe your teaching style?
I would describe my teaching style as compassionate accountability. I meet students where they are in their journey, providing support and encouragement, while also setting clear expectations that challenge them to grow. I also like to bring in speakers to class to help students connect the concepts we are learning about in the book with real-world examples.
What do students need to know to be successful in your classroom?
I don’t expect perfection, but I do expect effort, curiosity, and communication. Asking questions, staying engaged, and letting me know when you need help are the best ways to succeed.
